Usable Equipment

What Computers and Tablets can we use?

We have different types of technology that can be refurbished for educational use.
Below you will find a breakdown by type of technology to help guide your donation decision. Laptop style devices are the most flexible for student educational needs with tablets and desktops being good alternative.

**We can not use old CRT monitors please do not donate them to us.**

How Can I Donate Equipment?

Laptop Computer:

Laptops are the most flexible for students. Laptops ideally should begin the startup process when  plugged in.
If a donated system does not meet the requirements we may remove parts from it before sending the rest to our recycling center.
We will remove any hard drive left in the system and over write data and / or destroy the drive so no data will be exposed to any third party.

To donate a laptop it MUST:

  • Power on.
  • Have a fully working screen
    • We are able to take laptops with cracked screens, and will repair them if the material and labor costs are reasonable.
  • Working keyboard with all keys intact
    • In some cases we are able to replace keyboards cost effectively so feel free to donate a system if everything else is in fair condition.
